Progress Reports

Remember to check your child's folder on Fridays.  Progress reports go home every Friday.  Please sign them and return them on Monday. 

McTeacher's Night

Monday is McTeacher's Night at McDonalds.  Come out and support JME!  Who doesn't love a hamburger, nuggets, and fries?

Red Ribbon Week

Remember this week is Red Ribbon Week.  If you are participating in the poster contest, make sure you turn your poster in on or before Wednesday.  If you need the rules for the contest, check with your teacher.  Also on Friday we will be having a free dress down day.  You may wear jeans and a red shirt.

Because of Winn Dixie Project

Just a reminder!!  Students, your Because of Winn Dixie Project is due on FRIDAY, September 28th.  Remember, you only have to do ONE of the three projects.  It's your choice.  This project should be done about the story we finished reading today:  Because of Winn-Dixie.  This story was written by Kate Dicamillo.

Accelerated Reader

Accelerated Reader is up and running.  Encourage your child to begin taking A.R. tests on books they have read.  It would be great if every student met his/her A.R. goal for this nine weeks!

Homework

Tomorrow is our science test.  Make sure that your review the study guide.  We didn't make it through our math lesson today.  So...NO MATH HOMEWORK TONIGHT. :) 

Midterm Progress Reports

Midterm progress reports go home on Monday, September 10th.  Please make sure to sign and return them as soon as possible.  If you have not signed up for a conference, please send us an email.  We would like to meet with all parents before the end of the first quarter.  :)
